Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years IT experience (minimum 3 years supporting platform environments)
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
- Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
- Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, Rocky, CentOS
- CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Red Hat GitOps/ArgoCD
- Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
Responsibilities
- Installs, configures and maintains OpenShift clusters across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
- Ensures stability, performance, and security in the OpenShift environments
- Supports developers and IT teams to efficiently deploy applications
- Supports OpenShift frameworks and tools such as Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps, Red Hat ACS, Red Hat ACM
- Works with development teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
- Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
- Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
- Documents procedures and provides training to team members
