Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a finance-related occupation
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or closely related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a finance-related occupation
  • Financial analysis and reporting in Excel, using VLookups, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, IndexMatch, and Macro/visual basic
  • Using Tableau, PowerBI or similar business intelligence tool for data visualization and generating insights
  • Using reporting systems, such as Hyperion or Essbase, to deliver solutions
  • Financial forecasting and modeling, P&L analysis, monthly/quarterly analytics, annual budgeting, and multiyear strategic planning
  • Performing variance analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis, consolidation and reporting of P&L
  • Analyzing large amounts of data, synthesizing and presenting conclusions and observations to management
  • Evaluating P&L impact of business initiatives, including new project, new markets, and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the decision support, planning, analytics and reporting for Visa’s Operating Expenses
  • Support the full P&L and work closely with the Corporate Revenue FP&A team, External Reporting, Controllership, Treasury, and Investor Relations
  • Support in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and reviews of key financial metrics
  • Work on Visa’s quarterly Board and Earnings materials
  • Provide analytical support for Visa’s executive requested ad hoc analysis focused on expenses and overall P&L
  • Prepare insights and analytics related to financial considerations to potential business decisions
  • Participate in company-wide projects related to expenses and finance system improvements
  • Build and maintain relationships with finance business partners across the organization in support of Planning and Reporting processes
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency; create and maintain job aid documentation for the end users to ensure continuity
  • Proactively contribute to new reporting development and improve quality and presentation of existing reporting
  • Expand scope overtime to support various corporate analysis including but not limited to assisting in corporate expense targets, multi-year strategy planning, executive ad-hoc expense analysis, participating in company-wide projects related to expense and finance system improvement.
