Requirements

  • A minimum of 5–7 years of B2B, high-tech field and channel marketing experience, including at least 2 years focused on the Public Sector market
  • Proven success in developing and executing programs that drive demand, accelerate opportunities, and deliver measurable ROI
  • Strong knowledge of the current Public Sector market, including industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and adherence to established policies and processes
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop the integrated field and channel marketing plan for the U.S. Public Sector markets to drive pipeline growth and customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Public Relations, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and others, to provide context around public sector marketing needs and maximize the Public Sector team’s ability to leverage these resources in the field
  • Develop, execute, manage, and measure demand generation programs that help the sales team exceed revenue goals
  • Track program ROI and analyze performance metrics related to marketing-generated pipeline in the Public Sector business
  • Work closely with Sales VPs, Regional Directors, and extended sales and channel teams to understand their priorities and translate them into results-oriented marketing plans
  • Communicate program status, action items, results, and deliverables across marketing and sales teams
  • Manage and balance the field marketing budget and overall spend

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
