Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
- 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in design, validation and building prototypes to successfully release electronics products
- Hands-on experience and a proven track record in hardware development life cycle
- Expertise in hardware integration, including: SOC, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), embedded peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, embedded flash, high-speed serial)
- Experience in design and testing high-speed signal integrity and communication protocols
- Familiar with different Power Supply topologies and filter circuits
- Schematics and layout design using various EDA tools (Altium preferred)
- Component selection, test and validation for high volume products
- Experience with low power system design and integration
- Experience with sensor selection and integration for different applications
- Experience or understanding of RF systems, antenna matching, wireless protocols and testing
- Knowledge of PCB materials, PCB design process, PCB assembly/manufacturing process
- Strong hardware and system troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with test equipment and lab resources, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, logic analyzers, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, data loggers, multimeters, and optical and thermal analysis tools
