Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
  • MBA or executive leadership training preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in Health Insurance Sales
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance sales models, including Medicare Advantage, ACA Marketplace, and Business Outsourcing Processes
  • Proven success building and scaling business units or partner channels in a regulated, service-oriented environment
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Technologically adept with CRM, lead distribution systems, and performance tracking tools
  • Mission-aligned with a deep understanding of underserved populations and health equity goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and expand a comprehensive business development pipeline to drive consistent lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth
  • Identify, engage, and formalize partnerships with B2B partners, community organizations, brokers, health systems, and digital marketing platforms
  • Own the full business development lifecycle—including opportunity sourcing, pipeline management, deal structuring, contracting, and partner onboarding
  • Represent the organization at conferences, virtual summits, and partnership forums as a brand ambassador and growth leader
  • Establish and cultivate strategic B2B partnerships that drive scalable revenue
  • Build and manage a reseller network and enterprise sales channels for SaaS and contact center services
  • Design and implement outreach strategies that optimize lead generation, enrollment volume, and partner channel performance
  • Lead, coach, and scale telesales teams to exceed revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Implement performance tracking systems, dashboards, and incentive structures that foster accountability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with telesales and operations leadership to ensure sales goals align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to drive go-to-market strategy and integrated campaigns
  • Ensure product offerings are continuously refined based on market trends, consumer behavior, and partner/client feedback
  • Align internal teams around key initiatives to support effective program launches and scalable growth
  • Analyze sales performance data and industry trends to develop accurate revenue forecasts
  • Deliver consistent reporting to executive leadership on pipeline health, metrics, and growth projections
  • Maintain deep understanding of regulatory environments including CMS/FWA, HIPAA, and state-specific guidelines to ensure full compliance
  • Use KPIs and data insights to optimize strategy, improve ROI, and adjust performance targets accordingly
