Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 15+ years of life sciences industry experience within and outside of IT roles and with 5+ years of supporting Commercial and Functional Leaders as a trusted IT business partner and advisor.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or similar fields (computer science, information systems, business management, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment.
- Ability and maturity to manage Senior Level Stakeholders globally, regionally, and locally.
- Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e. privacy/compliance)
- Established Commercial Business Sense and Business Relationship Management
- Proven analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Solid digital/technical skills foundation

- Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and global senior leadership.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Segment commercial organizations to drive market growth and commercial excellence by enabling go-to-market and execution capabilities with the adoption and the alignment of commercial technology platforms and capabilities.
- Serve as trusted advisor on helping the business to construct meaningful business cases for necessary investments and the required activities that the business will be required to perform for success.
- Collaborate with multiple IT team members to drive strategic solutions and where feasible generate value from standardization; prioritize business IT/Digital demands to enable innovation, agility and profitable growth by deploying solutions that support commercial strategies and improve customer/patient experience.
- Accountable for IT’s responsibilities of the outcomes and value built from Segment technology investments.
- Accountable for IT strategy and execution in support of overall Segment strategy and ensures that all IT services and activities are delivered accordingly to the SLA agreed.
- Works and collaborate directly with senior business and functional leaders in the Segment to evolve culture and organizational behavior, elevating IT as a strategic partner.
- Responsible for defining the strategic direction within his/her segment for all the areas related to technology enablement and digital.
- Accountability for improvement opportunities and IT delivery model optimization, in line with the overall Segment IT strategy.
- Builds a strong alignment between IT and the Business (and supporting Functions), by establishing Business Relationship Manager (BRM) roles that maintain a close relationship with business leadership, understand their priorities, enables their business plans with technology, and deliver on their business requirements. Track and supervise all the main KPI’s and decide on actions to address.
