Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of management experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable SaaS products for Fixed Operations in the automotive industry.
- Define and execute the technical vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s overall goals and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and other key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver features that meet customer needs.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes, from development to deployment, to ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee resource allocation and team performance, ensuring optimal team structure and skill sets.
- Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and project priorities, ensuring timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming and design experience
- Experience utilizing Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
- Self-motivated, capable of driving change in complex environments
- High: drive for results, strategic orientation, collaboration, dealing with ambiguity, business acumen
- Demonstrable understanding of software engineering processes, including awareness of delivery requirements such as time and cost & an ability to recognize and manage performance with a focus on continuous improvement
