Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, MBA is a plus
- 12+ years of relevant experience to include 10+ years of coaching, leading, and developing teams
- Deep knowledge of finance, reporting, real estate performance for multi-unit commercial transactions
- Expertise in creating and executing Development strategies
- Enhanced knowledge of real estate development, site selection, store standards, construction/development process, franchise growth strategies (BCP), and operations
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive business growth and manage high-impact teams
- Synthesize data to effectively communicate and present to influence executive and board decision-making
- Ability to identify process opportunities and improvements in order to drive efficiency and results
- Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills with an understanding of complex deal structuring
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with external and internal teams in order to execute strategic initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead teams related to Network Planning, Town Planning, Asset Optimization, Corporate Property Management and Property Transactions with a goal of driving and supporting the Convenience Store Industry’s largest new store development pipeline and optimizing a real estate portfolio of over 15,000 properties
- Develop data insights, reporting and operationalization of data and performance to support Operations and Field Real Estate with respect to new and existing stores, including underperforming stores, and cross-functional teams conducting projects across the real estate portfolio
- Develop and execute strategies for Town Planning and New Store Development Strategy for 7-Eleven’s portfolio in the U.S. and Canada
- Train team on all types of analysis, evaluation, transactions, collaboration and property management stores and deals in order to have a best-in-class team capable of supporting and driving strategy for the existing and new store portfolio and real estate assets
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure proper business relations, operations and support
- Manage specialty projects related to optimizing the performance and maximizing the revenue generation of the real estate portfolio and leveraging new business opportunities
- Develop and manage relationships with industry experts to support and manage the real estate portfolio
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Restaurants, Field Real Estate, M&A/AI, Construction/Engineering, Design, Fuels, Legal, and other support and business teams to execute new initiatives
- Maintain relationships with external parties on continuous management, portfolio growth, and expansion and optimization of capital allocation
- Use forecasting to make growth projections and financial valuations used to make sound long-term decisions about our asset base
