Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of work experience with a significant proportion of that time in product design.
- Project Management experience in product design including budget, schedule, risk mitigation within a Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Manage the engineering design projects and global project teams.
- Support the customer relationships.
- Develop, manage and deliver medium to high complexity technology projects.
- Work with internal cross-functional organizations.
- Define and deliver the SOW, business proposals, project schedule / financials, and manage medium complex projects globally.
- Provide strategic direction on deliverables adapting to the customer requirements.
- Coordinate activities of small teams and keep them focused in times of crises.
- Provide weekly communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information for projects including project status, resolving project issues, problems, and changes.
- Assist with business and/or contract negotiations.
- Conduct formal design reviews with customers to ensure design(s) meet customer design requirements.
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.
- Responsible for ensuring all of the project’s technological requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.
- Accountable for overall project success – including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience with projects pertaining to energy storage, power conversion, and/or data center infrastructure preferred.
- Experience working in an agile or scrum environment preferred.
- Fluent in English and Chinese is preferred.
- PMP Certification preferred.
