Requirements
- An active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on model development and optimization
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, and simulation
- Experience working with computer vision models, tools, and systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and associated data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, MLFlow)
- Experience with simulation tools and techniques
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, statistical analysis, and algorithm design
Responsibilities
- Lead Computer Vision AI/ML efforts as part of a ~10-person cross-functional team
- Understand customer AI workflows and recommend T&E practices, procedures, and tooling
- Develop AI/ML workflows that demonstrate best practices and serve as references
- Conduct simulations to evaluate the performance of proposed solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate tooling into operational systems
- Document and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Stay informed about emerging trends in data science and machine learning to incorporate cutting-edge techniques
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to modeling and simulation
