Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in data analytics, insights, or product analytics roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or similar).
  • Proven experience partnering with Product teams to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Strong experience designing and analyzing experimentation (A/B tests, multivariate tests).
  • High autonomy in working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and data storytelling skills.
  • Growth mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments or startups.

Responsibilities

  • Generate Behavioral Insights to Inform Product Decisions: Analyze user interactions across the platform to uncover trends, pain points, and growth opportunities. Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide product development and improve user experience.
  • Enable Self-Service Insights: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, empowering product and business stakeholders to independently explore key metrics and monitor product performance.
  • Define Key Metrics & Segmentation Strategies: Establish robust metric frameworks and customer segmentation models to deepen understanding of user behavior, drive personalization, and support product growth initiatives.
  • Enhance Marketplace Observability: Partner with engineering teams to improve data collection processes, ensuring comprehensive tracking of user behaviors and maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Ask the Right Questions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify learning opportunities. Drive strategic conversations by framing the right analytical questions and delivering data-driven insights that influence product roadmaps.
  • Champion a Data-Driven Culture: Lead by example in promoting best practices in analytics, experimentation, and data storytelling within product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of experimentation platforms and best practices in test design.
  • Familiarity with event tracking tools like Segment, Amplitude, or MixPanel.
  • Experience with Python for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of marketplace dynamics and user engagement metrics.
  • Exposure to UX research collaboration.
  • Knowledge of digital product metrics and customer journey analytics.
