Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR Work Experience with Certifications
- Experience working in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate or Professional Certification
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, or serverless computing
- Experience with OCI IaaS and PaaS services
- Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and VCN
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Develop and implement cloud migration strategies to move existing on-premises workloads to OCI
- Create and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, including architecture diagrams, process diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud-native applications
- Work with security and compliance teams to ensure that cloud solutions meet industry and regulatory standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
- Stay current with OCI services and industry trends to ensure that cloud infrastructure is optimized for cost, performance, and reliability
- Mentor and train other IT team members on OCI best practices and cloud architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience designing Cloud Solutions within large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge and experience working in AWS is a plus.
- Coding and DevOps experience: Python, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub, GitOps, Pipelines
