Requirements
- +5 years of experience working with large data sets and developing data visualization solutions, particularly for sales organizations application
- Proven expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker, with familiarity in advanced custom visualization platforms like Streamlit or Plotly Dash
- Proficient in Python and highly skilled in SQL, including experience with extracting large datasets, designing ETL workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, and optimizing complex queries with Spark. Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong business and product acumen, with the ability to transform vague questions into well-defined analyses and success metrics that inform business decisions
- Excellent communication skills, capable of leading initiatives across multiple product areas and articulating findings to leadership and Insights teams
- Experience in leading key technical projects and significantly influencing the scope and outputs of others, with strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated agility in managing ambiguity, with a strong ownership mindset to independently devise solutions to challenges and identify new opportunities
- Understanding of user-centric design principles to ensure intuitive and actionable dashboards and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in emerging data technologies and methodologies
- Experience working across regions with a sensitivity to cultural differences, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Master the Pinterest dataset and collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to explore future analytical opportunities that uncover advertiser value through data analysis
- Design and create visual representations from data sources to enhance understanding and analysis. Develop dashboards, reports, and templates; lead the execution of complex dashboards; and translate patterns and trends into actionable recommendations
- Develop a clear data system to extract advertiser-relevant insights from the Pinterest dataset, establishing effective processes and solutions
- Provide technical guidance to team members, colleagues, and clients to ensure clarity and optimal use of developed dashboards
- Independently drive the execution of specialized and complex insights deliverables and dashboard development
