Responsibilities
- Under guidance, carries out procedures to ensure all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
- Analyzes and reviews requirements, user stories and technical work products.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Uses the appropriate quality engineering tools to design and create the automation needed.
- Validates basic test results, records and researches defects.
- With guidance leverages appropriate test engineering and automation tools and techniques for each technology domain and application.
- Assists in the identification of means to deliver more effective and efficient testing, without compromising quality.
- Executes basic to moderate release testing and backs out testing when needed.
- Identifies, documents, and reports several release test results.
- Addresses defects found in release testing and works with the appropriate team members to resolve open testing issues or testing questions.
- Aligns with the Nationwide automated testing reference architecture.
- Complies with release management process governance and timelines throughout the release.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Technology certifications including TOSCA Automated Specialist 1 (AS1), TOSCA Automated Specialist 2 (AS2), or other related designations are preferred.
- Two years of related experience with software delivery or educational experience within a technology domain.
