Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of P&L and cash budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and management levels
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy with a heightened sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience developing and executing executive-level presentations
  • SAP or other large ERP and follow-on system experience, along with the ability to manage large data sets
  • Ability to contribute both as an effective individual and as a proactive team member

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis function for the Division, overseeing three distinct business units to drive financial performance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency
  • Work closely with all Regions, Customer Business Units, Business units, Corporate, and other Divisions to support financial reporting, financial process improvements, and projects (based on pre-defined KPI’s)
  • Support of the preparation of monthly financial reports, global functions reporting and analysis, and providing insights across various departments
  • Review and report on variance analysis of actual vs. Forecast, Plan & Prior Year
  • Support the design and implementation of new KPIs and performance dashboards, enhancing visibility into key business metrics and operational efficiency
  • Support cost center activity, including monthly reporting and analysis, and leading reviews with Senior Leadership
  • Ensure divisional compliance with corporate policies and internal controls, reviewing and implementing group regulatory policies as needed
  • Support the communication and the ad hoc requests from SAMSUNG
  • Maintain a tight monthly G/L close process, working closely with divisional businesses and business controllers
  • Streamline tools and processes to improve analysis of complex data and make recommendations.
