Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree focused on a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science
- 3-5 years’ experience in business analytics, data analytics, and/or data science
- Demonstrable talent for deriving actionable business insights from raw data, able to draw meaningful conclusions and present recommendations in a compelling way
- Expert in SQL query writing and optimization with strong ability to read, understand and reverse engineer queries. Experience working in a Snowflake environment preferred.
- Advanced Python skills with experience building machine learning models
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with process documentation tools such as Lucid Chart and Visio
- Experience using Tableau for data storytelling
- Comfortable presenting findings and analyses to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify anomalies in the data
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across Evergreen to develop various descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions
- Analyze business processes, understand key trends and drivers from the data, identify issues and opportunities, and provide data-backed strategic recommendations to improve operational performance
- Develop forecasting models to predict operational timelines
- Build and maintain wiki pages for your analyses by providing clear documentation of business processes, data sources, calculations, business logic, and assumptions
- Present findings and recommendations to business leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
- Highlight key trends derived from data analysis and be a resource for improving data proficiency throughout the organization
