Requirements
- Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree required, ideally focused on Finance, Business or Real Estate, preferred
- 1-3 (3+ for Associate) years of investment banking, private equity, or real estate acquisition and development experience, with SFR or BTR experience a plus
- Advanced financial modeling skills and presentation capabilities (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly analytical mindset
- Ability to analyze large datasets (experience with SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau a plus, but not required)
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Support deal origination efforts, including initial opportunity screening, deal sourcing, and pipeline management
- Build detailed underwriting analyses and financial models to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities
- Prepare investment memorandum for presentation to Evergreen’s Investment Committee and the Company’s capital partners
- Support project due diligence, working cross-functionally with internal partners as well as third-party diligence providers
- Assist with financing, capital raising, and transaction negotiation and documentation
- Prepare materials and analyses for ad-hoc strategic, corporate, and investor-related projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau a plus, but not required
