Requirements
- Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication Disorders for Speech Pathology from an accredited institution by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky and Certified
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year Eligible
- BLS Certification Required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation and/or implementation of a treatment program for all referred patients
- Responsible for contributing to the development and the upgrading of treatment programs and protocols
- Responsible for the development and achievement of departmental goals, objectives, and performance improvement indicators
- Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within appropriate time frame
- The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies
- The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan
Preferred Qualifications
- New graduates accepted but experience is preferred
