Requirements
- Currently enrolled Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer engineering
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in the industry such as Python, Java, C++, GoLang or others depending on the specific area of interest
- Understanding of fundamental data structures (arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, etc.) and algorithms is crucial for technical interviews and real-world problem-solving
- Knowledge of frameworks like React
- Familiarity with database systems such as SQL or NoSQL databases and the ability to write queries
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for collaborative coding and project management
- Ability to analyze problems, break them down into smaller components, and devise effective solutions
- Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members, explaining technical concepts, and presenting your work effectively
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges quickly
- Skills like time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide support to development teams responsible for implementation of Speech Feature in native head unit and cloud environments
- Work closely with a proactive, highly motivated engineering team to bring next generation infotainment and telematics solutions to Mercedes-Benz products worldwide
- Help in developing some existing speech domain integration into our new ReAct Architecture for in-vehicle customer experience improvements
- Present and demo research topics to Mercedes-Benz internal groups, and at external events such as academic conferences
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software with a measurable customer value
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with languages like Python, GoLang, Java
- Experience with Tools like AWS
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Curious, self-motivated, and excited about solving open-ended challenges at Mercedes-Benz
