Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of KYC/AML/QI/FATCA/CRS documentation processing, policies and regulatory rules, Wealth Management industry, and other regulatory requirements (CIRO, OSFI, IRS, etc.)
  • Reporting and tracking capabilities using tools such as MS Excel (advanced formulas/pivot tables/macros), Power BI, Access
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to propose innovative solutions
  • Sound organizational knowledge with an operational mindset; including strong understanding of Wealth Management products, processes, systems regulations, and client needs
  • Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across multiple team and functions
  • Strong problem identification, analytical and resolution skills required to support escalated issue resolution and oversight requirements associated with exception-based complex processes
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • Investment Dealer Supervisors Course

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily department oversight activities for complex exception-based processes to validate that automated and manual activities yield the expected outcomes. Run and analyze reports to resolve client data exceptions, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and firm policy requirements.
  • Liaise and provide service support to individuals requiring research, problem resolution, or information from other Operation’s departments, RBC Business Units, or external partners.
  • Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process, reporting or system enhancements. Participate in testing and implementing enhancements and new processes.
  • Maintain department documentation, ensuring procedures, policies and guidelines are kept current.
  • Provide accurate analysis and processing support for manual, exception-based, complex, and/or highly specialized reconciliation and quality control processes within the New Accounts & Documentation function.
  • Accurately review, verify, and record data into systems.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
