Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Hotel Management, Business or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
  • 2-5 years progressive work-related experience in the hotel industry, with demonstrated proficiency in customer service in the Service/Hospitality industry involving hotel operations and/or training.
  • Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills, including adapting both verbal and written communications to the needs and level of user.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and track multiple projects at one time.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and follow-through in tracking ongoing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high-quality customer-focused organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to keep current with industry trends/changes.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete critical steps in the on-boarding of the hotel to include but not limited to the naming and principal correspondent processing for ~2K new hotels annually.
  • Plan and coordinate quarterly Owner Summit for ~200 owners.
  • Create and distribute hotel opening announcements for each new or converted property.
  • Coordinate transition processes, collect key intelligence across business segments, and execute decisions made for all AMER open hotels at end of license.
  • Ensure Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) & Provision Letter, if applicable, have been satisfied. Follow up with owners to ensure satisfactory completion or extension for all expired TCOs.
  • Enroll new hotels in the training classes.
  • Provide system access including but not limited to Merlin, SBRP, Touchpoint to new hotel owners and new hires during the opening process.
  • Execute critical strategic programs related to hotel openings.
  • Answer inquiries and requests from internal partners on status of pipeline hotels.
