Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on the automotive industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or JIT/JIS process management within the automotive industry.
- Experience and knowledge of VDA, ISO and other standards and regulations for the automotive industry. Experience in performing process AUDITs is required.
- Strong understanding of Change Management principles, including steering and evaluating Change requests, and their application in automotive environments.
- Experience with route optimization and traffic management tools/software (e.g., TMS, WMS), JIS logistics, and/or material flow planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements, including safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize complex processes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
- Managing the awarding of suppliers for equipment.
- Coordinating the implementation in line with SOP requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop JIT/JIS processes, concepts, and equipment to ensure timely delivery of modules and components to the assembly line.
- Manage and optimize both manual and automated material flow processes from suppliers to dock doors.
- Work closely with JIT/JIS suppliers in the automotive industry to address delivery and quality concerns, improving supply chain operations.
- Plan and implement automated unloading systems in trailers to streamline material handling and logistics efficiency.
- Align product planning with JIT/JIS logistics to improve coordination between production schedules and material flow.
- Lead initiatives to reduce lead times and enhance supplier performance within the automotive sector.
