Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repair of all types of manufacturing equipment; including but not limited to blow molding, conveyor systems, plant support equipment, case packers, box makers, stretch wrappers, and palletizers.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all types of equipment represented in the plant with a high degree of skill and competency.
- Repair basic electric circuits with complete understanding of electrical schematic diagrams.
- Supplies own tools to perform maintenance tasks in the disciplines of the scope needed to perform job task assigned.
- At times will be required to work independently and with other co-workers to complete the necessary repairs.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined by organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some post-secondary education preferred (i.e., Technical or Vocational education) but not required.
