Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Mitigate loss by contacting customers or locating vehicles to address any risk to our collateral.
  • Contact customers and third parties to determine their intent with collateral and collect payments as required.
  • Assess the level of risk associated with each account to determine an appropriate course of action.
  • Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure process flows as required.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills while engaging with our customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts that are 0 to 120+ days delinquent or charged off, where applicable.
  • Utilize skip tracing and collection tools to locate customers and determine intent.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Perform data input and reporting requirements.
  • Determine and identify military affiliation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous auto experience and prior military background are helpful.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.
  • Basic skip tracing experience is strongly preferred.
  • At least 1 year of collection experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
