Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Mitigate loss by contacting customers or locating vehicles to address any risk to our collateral.
- Contact customers and third parties to determine their intent with collateral and collect payments as required.
- Assess the level of risk associated with each account to determine an appropriate course of action.
- Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure process flows as required.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills while engaging with our customers.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts that are 0 to 120+ days delinquent or charged off, where applicable.
- Utilize skip tracing and collection tools to locate customers and determine intent.
- Communicate effectively and professionally.
- Perform data input and reporting requirements.
- Determine and identify military affiliation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous auto experience and prior military background are helpful.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.
- Basic skip tracing experience is strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of collection experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
