Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (4 years or more of on-the-job experience in the Specific HLT field)
- 12 years of related experience
- Approved testing in translation and speaking, listening, and reading
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Computer skills including MS Office
Responsibilities
- Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials into correct grammatical American English
- Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats
- Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text
- Interpret accurately, with a focus on consecutive interpretation
- Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with high accuracy
- Prepare reports with excellent English-language written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools & Applications
- Excellent English-language verbal communication skills to present briefings
