Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with performing systems engineering or integration in DoD space systems
- Experience with requirements development or verification
- Experience with Confluence or JIRA
- Experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities
- Assist the government as the Lead ensuring the space, ground and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs
- Provide direct support to the chief engineer
- Manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems
- 2+ years of experience with space acquisition
- Experience with using Agile methodologies
- Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
- Agile Certification, including CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP
