Requirements
- 12+ years of experience researching, interpreting, and applying Defense Acquisition System and Adaptive Acquisition Framework 5000 series policies, principles, techniques, methods, and practices
- 4+ years of experience with PNT or MILCOM acquisitions
- Experience providing recommendations to acquisition program offices on acquisition pathways, including documentation tailoring and baselining
- Experience reviewing NDAAs and providing recommendations to senior officials and program offices
- Experience planning, tracking, and meeting delivery dates for products across multiple programs
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments while maintaining performance and delivery of quality work products
- Ability to effectively and concisely communicate using a variety of styles appropriate to target audience
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of experienced professionals and be a liaison to the government
- Support pre- and post-award federal contracts
- Determine documentation requirements for key milestone and decision events
- Contribute to strategic planning with key clients
- Work on acquisition pathway analyses and be responsible for contributing to key strategy decisions
- Grow acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Obtain concurrence to help deliver meaningful acquisition support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a PEM or at a higher headquarters, including Pentagon, combatant command, or Air Staff
- TS/SCI clearance
- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level III Certification
