Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited sonography program
- ARDMS (OB)
- NTQR certificate of program completion
- FMF NT certificate of program completion
- ARDMS (FE)
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized sonography procedures of high complexity
- Produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease
- Exercise sound judgment and clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients and healthcare providers through competent assessment and communication
- Adhere to local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
- Perform specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department
