Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
  • At least 8 -10 years of experience within oil refinery operations / petro-chemical company / EPC / chemical technology company
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years’ hands on experience in process simulation tools like Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO-II, ChemCAD, UniSim, gPROMS, Aspen Exchanger Design & Rating, HTRI, Optiplant and Capital Cost Estimation
  • Deep Domain expertise in Chemicals, Spec Chem, Polymer & Petrochemicals Industries
  • Familiar with Digital Twin Projects Implementation & Sustainability projects
  • Experience in Concurrent Engineering / FEED design and deliverables
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Good spoken and written skills in English language

Responsibilities

  • Primarily working with our Aspen Engineering solutions
  • Solution credibility to gather data/document and summary Client requirements and address the business process issues that AspenTech solutions will address
  • Assist the sales organization and Services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to major corporate clients
  • Support design and configure model-based systems and data integration with external systems and databases
  • Support project teams including our partners to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals
  • Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional solutions
  • Accountable for achieving personal targets such as productivity, bookings, and other Management objective related targets
  • Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, R&D and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Other languages a definite asset but not a requirement
  • Frequent business travel expected (30%)
