Requirements
- A BSCS/CE/EE plus 3+ years of experience or MS degree in telecommunications, computer networking, or related field.
- Experience in designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks.
- Experience in 3 or more of the following networking protocols and technologies (e.g. BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LACP, STP, IP Multicast, ECMP, Port-Mirroring, QoS, VXLAN, MPLS, EVPN, etc)
- Experience with Linux operating system and its popular technologies (e.g. KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Hbase)
- Some familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing system-level test cases for our next-generation management system.
- Working alongside the development team to help root-cause any issues found.
- Writing up detailed bug reports that include a complete characterization of the system at time of failure.
- Working with our Technical Support team to help reproduce, debug, and resolve any issues reported by our customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with provisioning and deployment frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) a plus.
- CCIE certification a plus.
