Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain an active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields is required
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in systems engineering, software development, test and evaluation
- Troubleshooting system level problems
- Scripting using shell and/or Python
- Linux
- System test planning and test execution
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Implementing software bug fixes and feature enhancements for an enterprise software system
- Appling a strong programming and scripting skill set to design, develop, and execute system and unit-level tests
- Supporting upgrades of third-party software interfaces
- Troubleshooting and resolution of issues during integration, testing, and deployment phases
- Ongoing support and maintenance of software environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Familiarity with Java and/or C++
- Familiarity with fundamentals of networking and distributed computing environments, and TCP/IP and UDP protocols
- Familiarity with Matlab
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch database
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with third-party software packages such as ITOS or COSMOS, and GMSEC
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Active Top Secret clearance
