Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of experience in programming and software development of a global product, using Angular and Spring Boot components at a medium level.
- Strong expertise in working with RDBMS, particularly Postgres, including writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
- Experience with Continuous Delivery (CD) tools like Jenkins.
- Experience in microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve issues spanning various aspects of our software solutions, including configuration, database and associated objects, user interface, data management, visualization, analytics, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Apply general business knowledge acquired through education, on the job or prior experience to analyze user provided problem, determine root causes and provide resolutions.
- Resolve issues using established procedures/tools, leveraging your system knowledge, learning about the business processes, using lean features where needed and seeking guidance from senior team members.
- Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module.
- Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
- Work independently, Learns/applies new technologies when required.
- Work on tasks/activities as assigned by supervisor.
- Collaborate with Software users and other DT team members globally providing them with enhancements and bug fixes, while adhering to the programming, security and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in supporting and/or developing software applications in AWS Cloud especially with tools like Lamda and SQS.
- Aware of design principles, design patterns, and debugging techniques.
- Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
- Influences through others; builds direct and “behind the scenes” support for ideas. Pre-emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome.
- Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.
- Understands when change is needed.
- Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices. Finds important patterns in seemingly unrelated information.
