Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working with simulation systems
- 3+ years of software QA in Python, C++, and SQL in professional environment or equivalent degree
- Understanding of large-scale data generation and data analysis
- Foundational understanding of common software development practices
- Track record of delivering tested solutions to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the code used for measuring the vehicle in relation to the world.
- Curate driving data and apply the appropriate evaluators to provide testing datasets.
- Work to provide the right data to multiple customers for identifying critical issues and ensuring optimal driving performance.
- Work closely with teammates to design upcoming features, data requirements, and performance measurement approach, and estimate their impact on driving performance.
- Regularly check the data provided is reflective of the vehicle behavior and the goal of the Testing Criteria as the datasets evolve over time.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, technical design implementations, and testing plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements testing and/or software QA/QC
- Strong understanding of self-driving automotive technology
- Experience with release management using GitHub Enterprise or similar tools.
- Proficiency in data science, statistics, root cause analysis, and failure analysis.
- Strong grasp of automated driving technologies spanning planning, control, perception, and localization.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Github Actions, Reviewable, and test management tools
- Japanese language proficiency
