Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on defined benefit pension administration and/or the insurance or financial services industries.
  • Strong understanding of the product management discipline, software development processes, including Agile methodologies, and experience working closely with engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of pension administration, benefits management, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive product initiatives from conception to launch.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional outcomes and user experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMC, PMP, PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product requirements and create detailed product roadmaps.

  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software products.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create a seamless and engaging user experience.

  • Establish and maintain quality standards for the product.
  • Oversee testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure the product is reliable, secure, and performant.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including marketing and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure a successful launch.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and make necessary adjustments.
  • Continuously gather and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements and updates.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including planning for end-of-life when necessary.
  • Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of the product.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment and buy-in from all relevant parties.

Preferred Qualifications
