Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a STEM Master’s Degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development.
- Experience developing software with C/C++/Python/Java.
- Experience with UCI Schema and CAL development.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
- Proficient with containers and Kubernetes.
- Proficient with Automation tools such as Ansible, and/or Terraform.
- Experience scripting in YAML, Powershell, BASH, JSON, etc.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, or equivalent).
- Proficient with networking concepts.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Maintain and troubleshoot networking components, including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, servers, and hardware.
- Deploy, manage, and support virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors).
- Implement and manage core infrastructure services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, NAS, and Active Directory).
- Setup an overall Cloud-native Software Factory.
- Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies.
- Support programs with integration and deployment automation in a cloud enabled environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Active SAP
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- Experience integrating and debugging software on hardware
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Proficiency working in Linux and commands
- Preference to work in software/hardware integration and rapid prototyping
- Able to collaborate in a team environment
- Able to work independently and identify solutions to complex problems
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
