Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a STEM Master’s Degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development.
  • Experience developing software with C/C++/Python/Java.
  • Experience with UCI Schema and CAL development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
  • Proficient with containers and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient with Automation tools such as Ansible, and/or Terraform.
  • Experience scripting in YAML, Powershell, BASH, JSON, etc.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, or equivalent).
  • Proficient with networking concepts.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot networking components, including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, servers, and hardware.
  • Deploy, manage, and support virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors).
  • Implement and manage core infrastructure services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, NAS, and Active Directory).
  • Setup an overall Cloud-native Software Factory.
  • Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies.
  • Support programs with integration and deployment automation in a cloud enabled environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Active SAP
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science
  • Experience integrating and debugging software on hardware
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Proficiency working in Linux and commands
  • Preference to work in software/hardware integration and rapid prototyping
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment
  • Able to work independently and identify solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
