Software Engineering Manager

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a STEM Master’s Degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development.
Experience developing software with C/C++/Python/Java.
Experience with UCI Schema and CAL development.
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
Proficient with containers and Kubernetes.
Proficient with Automation tools such as Ansible, and/or Terraform.
Experience scripting in YAML, Powershell, BASH, JSON, etc.
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, or equivalent).
Proficient with networking concepts.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Maintain and troubleshoot networking components, including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, servers, and hardware.
Deploy, manage, and support virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors).
Implement and manage core infrastructure services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, NAS, and Active Directory).
Setup an overall Cloud-native Software Factory.
Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies.
Support programs with integration and deployment automation in a cloud enabled environment.
