Requirements
- Experience managing a team of engineers
- Demonstrated expertise in control system algorithm development for mechanical dynamic systems.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink development.
- Experience in test, verification, validation, and productization of algorithms.
- Familiarity with requirements decomposition and management tools.
- Experience with Plant Modeling development tools and processes.
- Familiarity with Safety-critical software development and certification.
- Familiarity with HIL and SIL testing.
- Familiarity with C/C++ software development.
- Background in guidance and navigation, in addition to controls.
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
Responsibilities
- Leading, inspiring, and supporting an existing team of control system engineers, including goal setting, performance management, and career planning
- Providing technical guidance to team members, and helping to remove roadblocks for them
- Facilitating the efficient application of each person’s time to prioritize work by allocation and monitoring of tasks at a level of detail appropriate to each person
- You’ll have a genuine interest in developing yourself, as well as others
- Collaborating across geographically dispersed AgIS team and its partners to drive continuous improvements in software development processes
- Ensure ongoing testing and product quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading technical projects.
- Practical experience with automatic controls of off-highway machinery.
- Experience with GNSS+IMU state estimation.
- Autonomous/Semi-autonomous vehicle control.
