Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field
- Skilled in both backend C++ and Python programming, multi-threading, algorithms, and data structures on Linux O/S command line interface
- Any exposure to distributed systems (required), operating systems, database systems, file systems concepts is preferred
- Intellectual Curiosity – A natural eagerness to explore disaster recovery functionalities and learn beyond assigned tasks
- Resourcefulness – Ability to find solutions independently, whether through Workday Community, forums, or trial and error
- Logical Thinking – Breaking down technical problems into manageable steps for easier resolution
Responsibilities
- Learn the fundamentals of disaster recovery (DR) and gain hands-on experience with Nutanix’s BCDR solutions
- Complete a project, push it to production, and confidently present results to leadership
- Work directly with source code to implement new features and enhance existing DR capabilities
- Contribute to feature development, troubleshooting, and maintaining disaster recovery solutions
- Support customers and end-users by addressing issues and improving DR reliability and scalability
- Gain expertise in hybrid cloud solutions for on-premises and cloud-based disaster recovery
