Requirements

  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building scalable microservices, particularly in systems that run at scale.
  • Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP, including deploying and monitoring applications.
  • Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using observability tools and best practices.
  • Strong focus on improving code quality through unit tests, automation, and performing thorough code reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Build robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot, crafting elegant solutions that power high-performance applications.
  • Leverage skills to architect efficient data models and optimize complex queries in SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity in scalable systems.
  • Take charge of deploying applications on Azure and GCP, expertly managing cloud environments to ensure high availability and resilience in production.
  • Monitor application health, identify performance bottlenecks, and fine-tune services for lightning-fast responsiveness and reliability.
  • Engage in dynamic code reviews and collaborative development sessions, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the team’s coding standards and foster innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
  • Masters in Computer Science.
