Requirements
- Must have experience with developing and maintaining Spark ETL pipelines in Google cloud platforms
- Must have experience with designing and implementing Rest API Web Services in Java
- Must have experience with testing REST API Web Services in Java using Postman with managing code in Git source control tooling
- Must have experience with designing and developing data flow in Google cloud platform
- Must have experience with implementing and optimizing Hive QL queries in GCP BigQuery and Apache Hive
- Must have experience with authoring and optimizing unit tests and functional tests of developed code
- Must have experience with Iterative Development Process (IDP) in an Agile environment
- Must have experience with handling huge amounts of data in Microsoft Excel
- Must have experience with building data pipelines in Apache Hive and Spark
- Must have experience with coding in functional and object-oriented programming languages like Python, Scala and Java
Responsibilities
- Assists in providing guidance to small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects
- Provides support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues
- Manages small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information and performing root cause analysis
- Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high level design
