Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- 1+ years professional experience with Object Oriented Development using Java with the ability to create complex software designs based on customer’s requirements.
Responsibilities
- You will team up with a high-performance software team, collaborating with fellow Software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Architects, and other teams.
- You will support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements.
- You will participate in the design of the capabilities producing UML and SysML diagrams.
- You will be responsible for producing high quality mission critical software.
- You will participate in code and related artifacts peer reviews.
- You will create test cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- Experience/Understanding UML, SysML, MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.
- Experience/Understanding requirements analysis, requirements decomposition and derivation.
- Understanding virtualization.
- Understanding microservices, containers and orchestrators.
- Understanding OMS.
- Understanding DevSecOps and CI/CD.
- Understanding pub/subs bus such as ActiveMQ, DDS.
- Understanding Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Understanding Graphical User Interfaces with Java frameworks, such as Swing or JavaFx.
