Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Five years of professional software engineering experience, including two or more years of experience developing mobile and web applications
- Experience developing applications for portable devices (e.g., mobile phones, tablets and iPads, and laptops)
- Experience partnering with product management and UX teams
- Familiarity with web or mobile test automation tools and practices
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Responsibilities
- Share responsibilities for the development and operations of new web and mobile applications utilizing Flutter
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and product management and data teams
- Analyze product requirements
- Contribute to system and software designs
- Develop client applications that integrate with back-end services
- Operate end-to-end applications that cultivate the playful curiosity of young children and their teachers
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Flutter
- Experience with both web and mobile application development
- Technical knowledge of REST APIs and data caching patterns
- Experience developing minimal viable product(s) using iterative methodology
- Passion for building high quality applications on behalf of end users
