Requirements
- Have some experience with Linux systems and basic system administration.
- Are familiar with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
- Understand core concepts of cloud infrastructure and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Are excited to work on real-world infrastructure challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Are curious, resourceful, and eager to learn by doing.
Responsibilities
- Help automate the continuous integration and testing processes to enable and scale.
- Help automate and optimize our continuous integration (CI) and testing workflows.
- Assist in designing and implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Learn and support configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Dig into logs, metrics, and data to diagnose and solve system issues.
- Collaborate with engineers to propose and implement solutions.
- Optionally participate in mock or shadow on-call rotations to gain real-world SRE experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- You have familiarity with AWS services (i.e. ECS, S3, ALB, VPC) is a plus.
- You have knowledge in containers and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- You thrive working in a fast paced, startup environment.
