Software Engineer

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study
Five (5) years in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Technology Specialist, System Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation
Three (3) years of experience with developing flow and Java services with SoftwareAG webMethods v10.5 or v10.15, including integration server and mywebMethods server
Two (2) years of experience with using JMS to design and code Middleware messaging applications to communicate between IBM MQ and webMethods
Experience testing releases of new changes within SWIFT messages
Experience creating SQL commands to debug issues in Oracle 12c or 19c database
Experience with Middleware system design
Experience performing stress testing and performance testing to verify operational stability
Experience with Agile methodologies including CI/CD using Bitbucket and Jenkins
Experience designing and deploying applications on Amazon EC2 and S3

Design, develop and implement software solutions
Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices
Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements
Incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications
Documenting application specifications
Translating technical requirements into programmed application modules
Developing or enhancing software application modules
Identifying or troubleshooting application code-related issues
Taking active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications
Assisting with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows
Participating in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions
