Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in Software Engineering
- 1+ years of work experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript code
- 2+ years of work experience in both front-end and back-end engineering
- 5+ years of work experience in Software Engineering
- 2+ years of work experience with Javascript and/or Typescript code
- 2+ years of work experience in both front-end and back-end engineering
- 2+ years of experience with the AWS or other public cloud environments e.g., GCP, Azure), including deploying applications to these environments
- 2+ years of working experience in DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. CDK and Terraform)
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and thoroughly testing comprehensive product features.
- Building and enhancing our core infrastructure and platform.
- Driving system improvements and elevating the overall developer experience.
- Writing robust, maintainable code, and refactoring to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Actively participating in code reviews
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to rapidly understand JavaScript/TypeScript code.
- Proven track record of delivering production quality apps.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and strategic discussions with extended organization.
- Experience and passion about Agile methodologies.
- A desire to think about user experience and provide feedback on design and UX.
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem is a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform) is a plus
- Writing quality and well tested code excites you
- Experience with both front-end development and server or backend development is a plus
- Strong belief in automation and experience building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins/Github Actions
- You are curious and empathetic with experience and passion for Agile methodologies
- Experience with writing production quality code in TypeScript
- Experience with API design and development using Rest and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana) is a plus
- Experience with Azure and Salesforce administration is a plus
- You have delivered several production quality applications and know how to maintain and support them
- Strong communicator that can drive technical and strategic discussions with extended organization
