Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similarly technical/quantitative field; equivalent work or project experience
- 2+ years of software development experience, with a focus on creating or maintaining automation frameworks
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript, Go, Python
- Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and at least one public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven track record of designing and implementing automated tests
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Github)
Responsibilities
- Examine business requirements and work alongside engineering to develop and execute comprehensive test plans at both the product and system integration level
- Partner with team members through design discussions, code reviews, debugging sessions, and promoting best practices that foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Contribute to the automation roadmap and improve testing efficiency by creating automation tests and enhancing automation frameworks
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other system limitations
