Software Development Engineer

5+ years experience with Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service); UML is a plus
5+ OO design and development experience in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, etc
4 year degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven understanding and application of object-oriented design (OOD) principles
Excellent ability to work efficiently within a team, giving to shared goals and encouraging a collaborative environment
Strong proven understanding of design and analysis of software for performance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft efficient algorithms and data structures
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with globally distributed team members

Design and develop an OO Recruiting product in a metadata-driven development environment
Write and maintain SOLID, robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO framework and tools
Write reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our CD pipeline
Solve challenging problems in an Application related to performance, scalability, and resilience
Understand and promote industry best practice
Mentor and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc.
