Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in global development, philanthropic partnerships, or social impact work
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex partnerships across governments, non-profits, start-ups, and philanthropies to implement technology solutions
- Strong understanding of and passion for AI’s ability to improve human welfare
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Strategic thinking with ability to identify high-impact opportunities
- Project management experience with track record of delivering results
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
Responsibilities
- Create and drive a vision for how AI can be deployed both domestically and across the globe to improve well-being, helping build a team and identifying the right partners, tools, and distribution to maximize impact
- Identify and establish partnerships with governments, non-profits, multinational organizations, and other stakeholders to deploy Anthropic-powered AI solutions in critical sectors like education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure
- Engage with undeserved communities and local organizations to co-develop AI services tailored to specific local needs
- Create robust evaluation frameworks for potential place-based and distribution partnerships
- Measure and report on success, developing and tracking metrics such as and improvements in well-being
- Work with philanthropic and nonprofit partners to address ecosystem challenges and promote distribution of AI tools and interventions in target communities
- Leverage insights from foundations, governments, and other partners to identify new areas for socially impactful AI tools and use cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or with underserved communities globally, in particular designing and implementing technology solutions for resource-constrained environments
- Network of established contacts within foundation, government, and non-profit sectors
- Experience in education, healthcare, or economic development sectors
- Experience working with AI uses in social impact contexts
- Background in program evaluation and impact assessment
