Requirements
- 6 years of relevant job experience, including cyber security work, financial and administrative experience
- 2-3 years of cyber incident response experience
- 3 years previous leadership experience, preferably leading technical teams
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Develops and administers schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectives
- Reviews and prioritizes needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology
- Manages a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and often include other people managers.
- Support SOC program planning, execution, and reporting
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership
- Help ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
- Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support training and development of SOC team
- Assist in vendor management and contract oversight
