Requirements
- 1 year experience in SMS and email marketing, SMS and email marketing technology, and relevant business experience (Level 1)
- 2 years’ experience in SMS and email marketing, SMS and email marketing technology, and relevant business experience (Level 2)
- 3 years’ experience in SMS and email marketing, SMS and email marketing technology, and relevant business experience (Level 3)
- High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working in email marketing software
- Experience working in SMS/Text software
- Intermediate HTML/CSS knowledge
- Intermediate reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to use email and text software tools
Responsibilities
- Understand and utilize all features and capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including developing personalized SMS and email messages, A/B testing, customer journeys, data extensions for delivery, automations, and campaign analytics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to build and deploy flawless digital communications to multiple marketing segments that drive audiences to engage with marketing materials and achieve desired behaviors.
- Provide support to marketing segments by managing the technical execution of ad-hoc, transactional and journey-based SMS and email communications.
- Deliver regular reporting and analysis of digital metrics and KPIs to help internal stakeholders understand campaign effectiveness and guide strategy of future digital campaigns.
- Implement dynamic content in email content and behavioral triggers within journeys based on audience demographics and previous engagement that led to specific actions and measurable results for the campaign.
- Proactively engage and coordinate activities with internal stakeholders responsible for the digital experience.
- Maintain communications marketing calendar for each audience ensuring volume, frequency and cadence are optimized to achieve maximum engagement.
- Maintain regulatory compliance across all digital campaigns/channels.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SMS and email campaign building in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Consult with and provide strategic recommendations to marketing leaders to drive audience engagement based on the campaign goals and analytical insights.
- Define and implement A/B or multivariate testing to optimize digital campaigns.
- Work with technical resources from CRM and data teams to ensure segmented lists from multiple data sources is loaded accurately into Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop and program customer journeys for variety of campaigns that utilize demographic and engagement data to deploy SMS, email, and paid media that drives audiences towards a desired action.
- Design and build custom automation and solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year health insurance or healthcare industry experience. 1 year client-side and/or marketing agency experience. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, AMPScript, SQL (Level 1)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field of study
- Basic knowledge of the Arizona health insurance market
