Requirements
- High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher is required
- At least one (1) year of prior experience as a PC Technician or Help Desk Specialist
- Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
Responsibilities
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability
- Respond to technical support requests and provide effective resolutions
- Offer recommendations for technical improvements and optimizations
- Provide problem-solving support for database-related customer issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals (e.g., printers)
- Install and configure application and operating system software, including upgrades
- Diagnose and repair hardware and network connectivity issues
- Decommission outdated equipment and perform data migration to new machines
- Maintain an inventory of installed software, manage software licensing, and establish policies and procedures for system upgrades
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely product delivery and proper installation of new equipment
- Analyze and provide recommendations for hardware and software standardization to improve efficiency
- Some positions may require shift work or a non-standard schedule to support the USSOCOM mission
